New Traffic Pattern for the Northbound and Southbound Truck and Car Lanes between Interchanges 9 and 10 starting the week of October 31st

WOODBRIDGE, NJ - A new stage of bridge deck reconstruction and roadway improvements will occur in the Northbound and Southbound Truck and Car lanes of the New Jersey Turnpike between Milepost 85 to Milepost 88 (between Interchange 9 and Interchange 10).

Northbound

All three of the Northbound Inner (car) traffic lanes will be shifted to the left.  The Northbound Outer (truck) traffic will be split with two lanes to the right of the new workzone and one lane to the left of the new workzone.  These shifts are scheduled to be implemented over several nights the week of 10/31/22 & 11/7/22.  The lanes are scheduled to be in this configuration until May 2023.

Southbound

All three of the Southbound Inner (car) traffic lanes will be shifted to the left.  The Southbound Outer (truck) traffic will be split with two lanes to the right of the new workzone and one lane to the left of the new workzone.  These shifts are scheduled to be implemented over several nights the week of 11/14/22.  The lanes are scheduled to be in this configuration until June 2023.

It is anticipated that traffic impacts will be light to moderate during night time hours.
